Another month has passed and our little boy keeps growing. I say every month is my favorite age but we have had so much fun with him and he continues to make us laugh. His personality is strong and he is quite the goof ball. He enjoys making silly faces to get reactions. He still remains busy and loves getting into things....especially the stuff in the garage (Daddy's tools). Here are some of Luke's highlights.
-He loves to sit in the cars and pretend to drive. He even changes the radio stations. Keys are also a favorite. He says "keys" and will point to the keys. When we hand them over, he'll run to the back door so he can put them in the key hole. He also likes to put them in the ignition.
-His vocabulary is growing (slowly). He says "choo choo" when he sees a train but also says it when he sees cars or trucks. Other words include daddy, doggy, kitty, moo, choo choo, keys, eyes, hot and hi.
-He loves animal noises and "moos" at cows and pigs and makes a tweet sound when he sees birds.
-His diet is expanding. We recently tried eggs and fish and he didn't react negatively to them. He loves scrambled eggs. He also loves avocado and quinoa. I think that is his favorite meal right now. Still no dairy, soy or any berries.
-He can fully eat with a spoon and fork now. Mealtimes are pretty easy.
-He likes to blow on his food while saying hot, even if it is cold. When I'm making his meal, he'll stand by me and blow on his hands.
-He has become a Mama's boy.
-He enjoys Thomas the Train. He will sit in his chair and say "choo choo" and point to the tv
-Loves to dance when he hears music. He will stop walking if we are at the mall and hear music. He breaks out in a full body dance.
-He pretends to blow his nose into tissues or even rags he finds.
-He knows when mealtimes are and tries to climb in his high chair.
-He loves books! He will go into his room, grab one and bring it to us to read. Bedtime stories usually include three-four books read over and over again. We hope he keeps his love for books.
