When the parents are away the dogs will....
These are two new spots I've found the dogs. Guinness finds Sean's chair to be very comfy. I guess he is feeling like all his sleeping spots have been taken over by baby stuff.

RIP Davis
A good friend of my brothers passed away yesterday. It is such a tragedy to see a talented and kind soul pass at such an early age. A life cut too short. Travis, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I know he had a significant impact on your life. I'm glad you have so many fond memories of Davis to hold dear to.

Airing out
These are the pictures that Luke will dislike me for once he is older. They were too funny not to post. Luke had a bad diaper rash and I wanted him to air out for a bit. I was taking a big risk now that he is mobile. We got him one of those walk and sit toys so he could practice walking. So, here he is...naked but with his walker.
Love those baby chub rolls!

I love my shoes
Luke seems to like eat his shoes more than he likes wearing them. Good thing he isn't walking yet and the shoes are fairly clean. He especially loves his brown leather and suede pediped shoes. Based on his obsession with them, they must taste really good. Here are some pics of Luke with his shoes.

Notice how Luke crawls into his crib drawer to get to the shoes. He'll also sit in here and "read" his books.

Luke is 9 Months
Luke is nine months today. I can't believe how quickly he is growing and developing. Each day brings something new. He is really on the move now. He crawls super fast and pulls himself up on anything he can grasp. He is crusin' along the furniture. I have a feeling he'll be walking soon. He was 22 pounds 14 ounces (85th%) and 30 1/4" (95th%) at his check up. He is one big boy and I love every bit of him. He still has chubby little thighs. I can't squeeze them enough. I feel like he isn't my "baby" anymore. He is growing way too fast. I think baby features are the best things in the world! Things I don't want to go away....chubby little thighs, cute dimples on the tush, dimples on the hands, chubby fingers, baby rolls, baby talk, baby laughter, baby toes, baby smell....well, just about anything baby. It is all so wonderful!

I've been taking pictures of Luke every month in this chair. As of this month it has become quite difficult. He won't sit still. I had to have Sean help distract him for these shots. He kept climbing up the chair.
